Rachel Goodman was a victim of domestic violence, surviving life a threatening relationship she became a single mother of three. Shortly after, Rachel also lost her mother due to the same type of domestic violence. She also had to learn how to raise three kids own her own while working full time. Rachel was able to receive the help and council she needed and started to speak out about her experience…

Rachel was able to overcome the aftermath of domestic violence because of the love from her family and community. Rachel’s mother showed unwavering support while the nurturing atmosphere at the Family Justice Center provided a community where she could heal and grow.

As a woman who has endured much trauma, Rachel learned to how to find strength and overcome. Becoming a resilient woman, she now strives to encourage others going through hard times. Rachel now serves her community as a national speaker, sharing her expertise in domestic violence and trauma.

Having endure much trauma, Rachel Goodman serves as a National Speaker bringing awareness and hope where ever she goes! Rachel has spoken at state conferences in Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas; she has also spoke before President Bush’s and Obama’s domestic violence council.
